Updated! Family Portrait Packages

We've just updated our website and included our new Family Portrait Photography Package.

Family portrait are often regarded with less importance and it is probably done once, maybe twice in a lifetime. Most traditional family portraits are usually carried out inside a studio and it is often dull and boring.

Whizarts Wedding Photography now adopts the similar approach & style used in our wedding assignments for your family photos! No more fake smiles and rigid looks.

John Lim's Family Portrait

Family portrait are often regarded with less importance and it is probably done once, maybe twice in a lifetime. Most traditional family portraits are usually carried out inside a studio and it is often dull and boring.

John & Yean wanted a family portrait before one of their sons leaves for his studies overseas. Instead of a studio, John’s family had their family portrait done at their comfort in their own home, and at their sports club in Penang.

Here are some of my favourite shots of this fun and loving family.

Once we were done, John treated us with a thirst quenching fruit juice somewhere nearby Penang Botanical Garden. Who says family portrait can't be fun?

"Casual Sunday" Family Portrait

We recently conducted a photo shoot for a fun and outgoing family a couple of weeks back in Penang. The theme for their session was "Casual Sunday" - nothing fancy, just plain and simple. What we first did was to let them have fun by doing whatever they want as we snap away candidly. Occasionally, we would ask them to strike a few pose for us; individually and in groups. A typical family photo shoot session usually lasts 3 - 4 hours.
