All of our photos go through a process such as colour correction, exposure adjustments, contrast enhancement and cropping where deemed necessary. This is to ensure that all of our photos look “professional” before it is delivered to you.
I’ve uploaded a few photos as an example to explain what this process is all about.

The photo above is taken right off the camera and there is nothing ‘technically’ wrong with the photo. However, it still looks a little blend to me and has a few potential adjustments to be made.

The photo above has gone through our ‘professionally processed photos’ treatment. Here was what I did.
1) Mildly rotated the photo to make it ’straight’
2) Colour corrected the photo to give it more warmth
3) Enhanced the contrast to give it a more dynamic look
This is the end product and is given to our clients.

A camera has its limitations. Any further adjustments usually require the photographer to manipulate the images using photo imaging software such as Photoshop. The photo above went through a second treatment and is ‘digitally enhanced’ to give it an extra “kick”. This was what I did for the photo above:
1) I ‘painted’ the grass and leaves to make it greener.
2) Dodged the couple’s face and burnt the background
3) Retouched their skin
4) Sharpened
This digitally enhanced photo is known as ‘fine art’ and is usually uploaded on our blog.

Left to right: raw off the camera, professionally processed, fine art.
