We spent 5 hours at 5 different locations in Penang for Thomas & Eelin’s pre-wedding photo shoot. Thomas & Eelin will be having their wedding ceremony this Saturday at Vistana Hotel and I look forward to capture their moments, candidly. Here are some of my favourite shots:

It was a pity that the sky was a little hazy that afternoon. It would be great if the bridge was more visible.

An email that made my day

April 27, 2007

I’ve just received an email that truly made my day. Thank you Tom & Susan for taking the time to write such a wonderful compliment. I will use the entire email you sent me if you don’t mind. :) Thank you! Thank you!

Thanks so much Ke Wynn!

Ok long hard thought on a testimonial/feedback that you deserve!!

Take what ever bits you want!

Right from our first meeting just a few days before the wedding you immediately put us at ease and we had every confidence in you.

My brother being an keen photographer , is normally quite reserved at praising photographers but he could see very quickly that you were good, he commented really early in the morning that you were full of energy and enthusiasm, and that you were always in the right places at the right time to capture the best pictures.

You really showed your dedication to your job by delivering more than we expected; whilst we were having a break in the middle of the day you you were busy working on the morning photos ready for viewing in the evening, we didnt even request this, to say the least we were extremely impressed! And by giving us a preview of such good quality pictures it allowed us one less thing to worry about and i think this is valuable for any couple getting married as the last thing that should be on their mind is whether the photos are any good.

When looking at photographer portfolios sometimes you get too many close ups and not enough pictures that capture the mood of the wedding party , however the range of photos you have taken are excellent, there are a good mix of all shots showing you are not just pointing and shooting that you are actually impressing creativity in to the shots.

We are so glad we chose Whizarts to capture our special day, looking through the photos just brings back so many happy memories, thanks a lot Ke Wynn!

Ok bit of an essay, but really we have been so impressed with your service!!!

Thanks again! Take care,

Tom & Susan

After a long break, we’re finally back in action, doing what we love – photographing weddings. A big thank you goes out to Iq Lin who introduced us to Whye Eow & Poi See. We truly enjoyed their wedding; their guests were fun and outgoing, their families were friendly and we’re glad to see so many familiar faces at their wedding too. Whye Eow & Poi See began their day with the usual morning preparation. Here are some of our favourite shots.

I simply love this shot. We could see the joy at their faces as they walk through the human arch

I am usually not a fan of ’spot colours’, but I couldn’t help but to do it for this shot. It just works perfectly.

The MC was trying to make the cork popping task a little more exciting.

POP!

Whye Eow & Poi See ended their celebration with a grand banquet at Traders Hotel. We would like to thank Whye Eow & Poi See for engaging us as their wedding photographer and congratulate them for a wonderful wedding.

NASAM Penang by Ke Wynn

April 4, 2007

The National Stroke Association of Malaysia or known as NASAM held their 10th Anniversary Fund Raising Dinner at E&O hotel and Whizarts was appointed to be their official photographer for their prestigious event. Their honoured guests includes Penang’s governor, TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas and YAB Toh Puan Datin Seri Hajjah Majimor Bt Shariff.

NASAM, founded by Janet Yeo is an non-profit organisation that provides rehabilitation support for stroke survivors and acts as a centre to promote stroke prevention to the public.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hong Ee, Chairman of NASAM Penang for giving us the opportunity to be there to witness and photograph a noble effort. Here are some of my favourite shots.
